The deal referred to as the ‘<i style="">Delhi Declaration</i>’ was signed during a visit by King Abdullah to <st1:place w:st="on"> <st1:country-region w:st="on">India</st1:country-region> </st1:place> . The deal will see both pubic and private companies in the two countries co-operating on projects. As part of the deal <st1:country-region w:st="on">Saudi Arabia</st1:country-region> will invest in oil handling facilities in <st1:country-region w:st="on"> <st1:place w:st="on">India</st1:place> </st1:country-region> . The Indian Oil Company (IOC) is to sell the less than 10% stake that it holds in India's Oil and Natual Gas Company (ONGC), subject to government approval. This news follows the Indian governments indication in November that it was happy for Indian energy companies to sell here cross-holdings in each other.
